Remote online notarization is a live appointment by video using an approved electronic process. Before the session, tell us what document you have and where it will be used so we can discuss whether online notarization is appropriate. You will need a suitable device, reliable internet connection, the document in electronic form, and identification that can be verified through the platform. During the session, Ellie confirms identity and willingness, watches the signing, and completes the electronic notarial certificate when applicable. Acceptance of an electronically notarized document is determined by the receiving party, so check with them before booking. We cannot prepare documents or give legal advice.
